Why the author chose the title she did
I'm reading the book called "Hate List" and i was thinking about the reasoning behind the title. I think the reason she chose the title "Hate List" is because that is a very powerful, short, and to the point title. When my teacher Stephanie read to the class what the book was about i knew it was going to be very interesting just from the title. I think Jennifer Brown did a good job picking the title she did. The "Hate List" was a list that Valerie and her now dead boyfriend Nick made to get all their frustrations out from the kids that annoy them or make fun of them. Its what the whole book is based around, the creation of the book and how it became a disaster. In the book Valerie states she did help make the book but she didn't want or expect anyone to actually die from it. The book was taken to far by Nicks part. I think the "Hate List" was a perfect name for the book. Its very catchy.

Great start, Jake. Do you think this book feels realistic? I sure do.
